Local processing active

Media is decoded, transformed, and encoded locally. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

    The practical guide

Join audio in a chosen order with a common output format.

Each source is decoded, converted to a compatible channel and sample-rate representation, then placed sequentially in a new WAV buffer.

    01

    Control track order

Arrange clips before export because the displayed sequence becomes the playback sequence in the joined file.

    02

    Decode and normalize

Different source codecs, channels, or sample rates must be decoded and normalized before their samples can be combined.

    03

    WAV output and gaps

The result is an uncompressed WAV with clips placed back to back. It does not add crossfades, mixing, or compressed MP3 output.

    Questions, answered

    Frequently asked questions

    Which output format is created?

The joined file is exported as WAV.

    Can files use different formats?

Yes when the browser can decode each source; unsupported codecs will be rejected.

    Does joining normalize loudness?

No. Technical sample-rate and channel conversion does not guarantee equal perceived loudness.

    Can tracks overlap or crossfade?

No. This joiner places tracks sequentially without mixing or transition effects.
