Select a tool and click the document to place content at the exact visual location. The editor adds new vector text, shapes, drawings, and images without pretending to rewrite arbitrary existing PDF text.
Undo and redo
Toolbar controls and Cmd/Ctrl+Z shortcuts step through deterministic annotation changes. Delete or Backspace removes a selected object outside form fields.
Whiteout is visual only
A white rectangle can cover visible content, but the underlying PDF data remains. Do not use visual whiteout for confidential redaction.
Privacy by architecture
Your sensitive tool inputs stay on your device.
The PDF, annotations, images, and exported document stay in this browser and are not uploaded to any server.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are rendered and exported in your browser.
Can this change existing PDF text?
No. This editor adds content on top of existing pages; it does not rewrite arbitrary source text.
Does export rasterize the PDF?
No. The underlying PDF is preserved and new annotation content is embedded over it.
Is visual whiteout secure redaction?
No. It only covers content visually. Underlying text or objects may still exist in the file.
