The practical guide
A visual white rectangle can leave original text underneath. This tool rebuilds every affected page from rendered pixels after applying the selected masks.
Draw redaction rectangles directly on a page, resize them with corner handles, and compare the editor view with the clean downloaded appearance.
Covered text and objects do not survive underneath the masks because the affected page is replaced with a sanitized image.
Redacted pages lose their original selectable text and vector structure. Unaffected pages are copied without rasterization, while OCR can be applied later if searchability is needed.
