Is my image uploaded?

No. Decoding, iterative encoding, resizing, measurement, and downloading happen locally.

Will the result be exactly 100 KB?

Not necessarily. The result aims to be at or below the target, but browser encoders produce discrete, content-dependent sizes.

Why were dimensions reduced?

Quality reduction alone could not reach the selected target, and the dimension-reduction option was enabled.

Can PNG files be used?

Yes. PNG input can be converted to WebP or JPG for target-size compression; WebP is preferable when transparency matters.
