Crop a photo with touch, trackpad, pen, or mouse controls while preserving its input format and keeping it on your device.
Cropping removes pixels outside a selected frame to change composition or aspect ratio. Resizing keeps the whole image but changes its pixel dimensions. Use a crop to remove distractions or fit a shape; use the resizer when the full frame must remain visible.
Free mode lets you draw any shape. A 1:1 square works well for avatars and grid thumbnails, 4:3 suits many screens and cameras, and 3:2 matches a common photo-print proportion.
Use 16:9 for wide banners, presentations, and video thumbnails, or 9:16 for vertical stories and phone-first layouts. Every preset starts centered and stays fully inside the source image.
Drag the selection to reposition it and use the four handles to resize. The displayed crop dimensions come from the original pixels, so the output width and height are known before you create the crop.
JPEG, PNG, and WebP outputs retain the source format. JPEG and WebP quality can be tuned; PNG stays lossless. Cropping does not modify the original file and all pixel processing remains in this page.
